Here's a random rant of the week... or a realization? I'll let you be the judge...

What if there are no such things called "mistakes?" Just experiences and choices made to guide us in a path; a path that doesn't necessarily lead us where we want to be... but where we need to be? What if there's a divine path that is beyond our control, or is there path available for those willing to see it? What if the life we have looks like a mess from the outside, but when we look closer, we find that all the clutter, all the distractions, all of what you think deters one's path actually enhances it? Looking back to particular/special moments in your life, do you feel the significance of what you've done or what has been done to you? Good or bad, easy or hard, our experiences have left you standing where you are on this road of life. Whether you like it or not, you are an influence to other beings. That is the beauty of being human; the ability to cross paths to define our own way of life. As miniscule as you feel in this world, you have the ability to influence the decisions of another person. Their lives are created because everyone they meet, including you, have colored their artwork called "Life." I've realized that everything is important and that every influence has shaped us to who we are. Put it this way. Imagine that life were a self portrait, and every person you meet are pieces of your portrait. A person can create two simple black dots, but what if those two simple dots were the pupils of your eyes, or the freckles on your face? We are all creating our portraits through the way we communicate to life as we know it. This rant by no means is trying to motivate... but simply stating a way to see life. I think it's beautiful, no matter how messy, how disasterous, or how confusing it may all be.

I'd go on... but i think my brain pick has worn down for the evening... so have a wonderful evening!

Much Love,
Tracey Hope

Blog #1

Wow it's been a while since i've updated and/or blogged like this... but what the hay... Again welcome to my wonderful website... I've got a lot up my sleeve for 2010, and I hope you'll be with me. Thanks to all of you have supported me from the beginning, and of course thank you to my new friends and supporters. I wouldn't of made it this far without you. Here's a little nit bit of what i've been doin lately.

First of all, just a sneak peek of what's in store. I've taken the time to write relentlessly for the past year, and I have a good collection of music which I believe you all will enjoy. My upcoming album "Take A Step Back" is in the making... but I don't think it'll be ready for at least a while. I'm working on the single, aptly named, "Take A Step Back" and hopefully will be available online and during my shows for you to buy and enjoy...I'm guessing by March.

I'm turning a new leaf. New posters, new merch, new music, new band, and well, new sound in general. Expect a little more gritty, a little more personable, and a lot more energy. I'm taking a few more risks - experimenting a bit, if you will. ;-)
All in all, I'm very excited for the upcoming year, and I hope you are too! I have a few shows left this year... but they are nothing in comparison to what you'll be seeing next year!

All I can say now is....Be ready...

Much Love,
Tracey Hope
